Who is STEPS and where do I learn more about them?

STEPS Ministries (STEPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry based in Birmingham, Alabama. We develop and deliver practical resources and education for hurting people to find help, healing, and hope. Our goals are to help people improve their lives, enhance their spiritual growth, and prevent behavioral health issues from becoming life-altering problems.

What does STEPS mean by "help, healing, and hope?"

“Help” is practical and useful steps to live life better and prevent behavioral health problems. “Healing” is grace-oriented encouragement for hurting people to know they are not alone because many others have been where they are. “Hope” is realistic assurance of a positive future from following an intentional, spiritually-sound, and wellness-based lifestyle.
