Addiction is like a car crash. It can harm or kill the driver and hurt anyone else along for the ride. The good news is that, with the right driving techniques, we can be trained on how to avoid a crash.
You’re cruising along, oblivious to the danger ahead. Suddenly, you’re spinning out of control, and the lives of you and those with you hang in the balance. Would it have been helpful to have a driver’s manual?
Harmful habits, compulsions, and addictions are issues which strike us all. If we haven’t yet been affected by one of these conditions, we likely will be in the future.
We all want to find more peace, joy, and purpose in our lives. Sometimes, knowing what to do to achieve that goal is a challenge, but it is something we can learn.
Looking at where your current habits and choices are taking you, why is change needed in your life? Think about that question a bit more. Really think about it, because finding your WHY is the key to change.
